屋面和墻面常用板厚為0.4～1.6毫米；用于承重樓板或筒倉(cāng)時(shí)厚度達(dá) 2～3毫米或以上。波高一般為10～200毫米不等。當(dāng)不加勁時(shí),其高厚比宜控制在200以內(nèi)。當(dāng)采用通長(zhǎng)屋面板,其坡度可采用2～5%，則撓度不超過(guò)l/300(l為計(jì)算跨長(zhǎng))

壓型板因原板很薄，防腐涂料的質(zhì)量直接影響使用壽命，為了適應(yīng)加工和防銹要求，涂層鋼板需按有關(guān)規(guī)定進(jìn)行各項(xiàng)檢驗(yàn)。一般情況下薄鋼板也可根據(jù)使用要求，經(jīng)壓型后再涂防銹油漆，或采用不銹鋼薄板原板。

壓型板用作工業(yè)廠房屋面板、墻板時(shí)，在一般無(wú)保溫要求的情況下,每平方米用鋼量約5～11公斤。有保溫要求時(shí)，可用礦棉板、玻璃棉、泡沫塑料等作絕熱材料。壓型板與混凝土結(jié)合做成組合樓板，可省去木模板并可作為承重結(jié)構(gòu)。同時(shí)為加強(qiáng)壓型板與混凝土的結(jié)合力，宜在鋼板上預(yù)焊栓釘或壓制雙向加勁肋。
